One Way Cruise Gocek/Sogut

A route along the whole coast, visiting the major towns and then luxuriating slowly in the gulf of Gokova.

Picturesque inlets, some perfect for sail-boarding, others delightful for a swim, others for a walk ashore to a real Turkish village.

An 'almost cordon bleu' restaurant where everything comes by boat, rickety jetties and shades of ancient glories and beauties all this awaits you. And the sailing is brilliant.

Those looking for some good reaching sails will thoroughly enjoy the Gulf of Gokova with its beautiful scenery, variety of anchorages and small villages. To do justice to the Gulf try and spend at least four days exploring it.

You may prefer to sail west from Gocek taking in a combination of quiet anchorages and lively villages as Dalyan to take a boat trip around the reeds and reach beatiful beach where logger headed turtle lay their eggs in August. Marmaris is a busy town with a modern marina excellent facilities.

Glourious gulf of Datca is well worth exploring at your leisure.

As a complete to the bustle of Marmaris and Datca, anchor in Knidos and explore the Greek/Roman ruins on the hillside. Watching the sun go down from the site of Aphrodite's statue is an unforgettable experience.
